Easter - or our best shot!

Easter is one of my favorite times of the year... it's getting warmer out, Spring is all but here, the Easter Bunny comes to visit, it's a bit less fan-fair than, say Christmas, and it's a day to celebrate our RISEN Savior!

This year, however, the kids were with my parents, and BJ and I were unable to drive to their house for our traditional Easter celebration because of his recovery process from his surgery! Needless to say, Easter felt a touch 'empty' this year without the kids... however, no matter what the circumstance, we were still able to CELEBRATE Jesus!

And I'm not sure the kids really noticed we were missing!!!

Four-wheeler break...

Back at it...Lessons...My parents' poor basement with the kids around...But they are SOOOO happy, so it's all worth it!And Bo and Jen visited in the boat for a couple of days...


Easter morning... the Easter bunny always leaves baskets by the bed (even at Mimi and Pop Pop's house!!!)

And Jack was VERY interested in what may have been left...

The egg hunt... yep, their mouths already show signs of sugary goodness!

When my parents brought the kids home, the boys were excited to see that the Easter Bunny had also visited our house too!

Man, I missed these kids!!!!

I think Jake was ready for his nap... what do you think? (It may be hard to tell, but his feet are resting on the bottom step and he has his paci - aka pie - and his blankie... and he appears to not be capable of making it any further!)
