April = Spring = FUN!!!

As promised, April has brought warmer weather, hence happier children and happier parents! We love playing outside and are looking forward to the (not so) lazy days of summer!!!

Sam looks like a teenager already on his 'computer!'

Easter - or our best shot!

Easter is one of my favorite times of the year... it's getting warmer out, Spring is all but here, the Easter Bunny comes to visit, it's a bit less fan-fair than, say Christmas, and it's a day to celebrate our RISEN Savior!

This year, however, the kids were with my parents, and BJ and I were unable to drive to their house for our traditional Easter celebration because of his recovery process from his surgery! Needless to say, Easter felt a touch 'empty' this year without the kids... however, no matter what the circumstance, we were still able to CELEBRATE Jesus!

And I'm not sure the kids really noticed we were missing!!!

Back at it...Lessons...My parents' poor basement with the kids around...But they are SOOOO happy, so it's all worth it!And Bo and Jen visited in the boat for a couple of days...


Easter morning... the Easter bunny always leaves baskets by the bed (even at Mimi and Pop Pop's house!!!)

And Jack was VERY interested in what may have been left...

The egg hunt... yep, their mouths already show signs of sugary goodness!

When my parents brought the kids home, the boys were excited to see that the Easter Bunny had also visited our house too!

Man, I missed these kids!!!!

I think Jake was ready for his nap... what do you think? (It may be hard to tell, but his feet are resting on the bottom step and he has his paci - aka pie - and his blankie... and he appears to not be capable of making it any further!)

Sam's First Tball Game!

Sam's Tball team... yep, Sam is the biggest boy on the team!

My little slugger! The three Amigos... (Kaden, Riley and Sam) I love that their hats are so far down that you can't even see their eyes... can they see me??? Jake wants to play soooo bad!!! Sam in his new uniform... Waiting for pictures... (Notice that Sam is #6 - for all of the shots later of him from behind!!!)

Still waiting... Waiting - patiently!? Playing... and waiting... Think Jake got tired? Yeah, right!!!

Guess I didn't upload a pic of him hitting!? Whatever, he hit, and here he is rounding second... On third base - ready to run home... facing the wrong way!?!? But he found his way...

And he made SURE to tag home plate! Jake was SOOOO interested in the game! Well, the Cheez-Its were good!!!

Sam won... I mean, came up with the ball! I do believe our next sport to try will need to be football! All of the OTHER kids needed pads with Sam around! He would run and dive for the ball --- and usually came up with it!!! Throwing the runner out at first...
