Rewind... Part 3

So here we go with the beginning of March...


Stormie NEEDED a nap, and apparently couldn't make it any further... so Elmo became her nap buddy!!!!Remember Sam's "OOOOO" face when he was a baby? Well, it's back!!!! Love it!I rearranged my cabinets (to BJ's dismay) so that Jake would only be able to get into my tupperware instead of other more harmful kitchen utensils! BJ is only upset because the tupperware now has no order whatsoever!!!!

These are my glasses from my birthday... Sam and Jake still love to play with them!

Jake sometimes watches T.V. this way...

Sam was talking to Jake from the shower! Pretty cute!

They needed helmets for something at Mimi and Pop Pop's.... not sure what, but they're pretty funny!

I had to get a good shot of my 'baby curls!' They are so cute and I don't want to cut them... EVER!!!! Maybe a trim will be in order though, before the mullet forms!?

And there was the snow that came at the beginning of March! Crazy weather we have had this year! Sam didn't like it hitting his face at first...

Jake came out for a minute, but he was 'trying' to catch a cold, so he didn't stay out long!

Stormie wasn't such a fan of the snow... she's not a fan of rain either. She preferes warm, but not hot; breezy, but not windy; cool, but not cold....... is that too much to ask?Sam and Mark (from across the street) played until they couldn't feel their faces or hands or feet!And of course, they had to build a snowman!!!

One evening, Sam decided that it would be fun to make the couch a trampoline... well, it was, but too bad that they feel it should ALWAYS be a trampoline now!

Yep, they're boys alright!!!! Let's not just FALL on the coushion, let's JUMP!HIGH!And tackle Daddy!Are they tired yet?Time to watch a little T.V...My two little leprechauns on St. Patrick's Day! Didn't Mimi do a GREAT job on their shirts?

Can you believe this was only a week or so after all that snow? And they're wearing shorts!!!!

Jake has discovered that he loves Frosties! There's a shocker!!!Sam had his Spring Program mid-March... they were absolutely adorable again! Sam wasn't so into singing or the hand motions, but he stood there like a good boy!Looks like he's THINKING about doing his hands!?Nope... just thinking about lifting his shirt up and showing us his belly!!!!!A look of pure concentration...And a good view of his backside...The 2-yr-olds went and sat down while the older kids did a couple more songs. Sam saw us and didn't seem to quite understand why we weren't sitting with him!?So... he just stayed turned around and watched us!!! Too cute!!!Then we had a party in Sam's classroom.Sam was giving us the thumbs-up... saying he was ready to GO!!!!More still to come...

Rewind... Part 2

Continuing the rewind...

The week before Sam's birthday, was my surprise birthday party. BJ decided that me saying I wanted to lay low and not really acknowledge this birthday (I was in major 3-0 denial), meant that he needed to throw me a lavish party!!!! Well, I wasn't too upset with him, but still wish we could have been celebrating 2-9!!!! He did an awesome job, and so many of my dear friends and family were there! It was so unbelievably special! I have the sweetest, most thoughtful husband in the world!

BJ told me we were going out to dinner with Matt and Lyndsey and that we had to pick them up at the church. I started thinking something was fishy when we had to meet them at the church, but was totally shocked at just how much he had actually done!!!

Here we are walking in. There were a few people outside the room, so they were like, "Surprise!" because they hadn't quite made it into the room yet! I actually thought that was it!!! Whew....Jake was the first one to run up and give me a hug! They had been at Mimi and Pop Pop's for a couple of nights.Me and my mom!Then we walked into the room. There were so many people in there! I was shocked and surprised all over again! I started crying!!!!Mama dolled me up right!Right down to the shoes!

Here is my BEAUTIFUL cake (I still don't understand why the theme colors needed to be pink and BLACK!?!?!?!?)There was a gorgeous flower arrangement on the table too...

Yep.... 30 Sucks! Sam was commiserating with me...The kids always want to play with Pop! Matt and Lyndsey met BJ that morning at the church to help him set up and decorate and all that fun stuff... what GREAT friends!!!!

Jake decided Mommy needed help!Bo and Jen... aren't they cute together?Brandon and Mandy... aren't THEY cute together too?Jake only wanted Mommy to hold him, and Aunt Melissa knew that I needed cake too!!!!! She always knows what I need!!!!!
